Follow recognised reporting guidelines, including CARE where applicable, and include documented patient consent.

What happens after submission?

An editor assesses whether your manuscript meets the journal’s scope and minimum quality standards. Suitable submissions proceed to peer review before an acceptance or rejection decision.

Submissions may be declined at the initial assessment. Present a clear study design and research argument, a concise title, and an abstract that stands on its own.
